"Trees Need Haircuts, Too" (New Moon Radio, Episode 004)
New Moon Radio is a moonthly audio adventure for youth and families that appears on the new moon! New Moon Radio follows the arc of one of our in-person program days, and it aligns with the goals of all of our educational programming. It is nature-inspired and attuned to seasonal cycles and rhythms. It is attentive to issues of equity, justice, and social responsibility. And it aims to encourage all of our listeners to deepen their intimacy with the earth and their desire to protect people and the planet.
Episode 004 of New Moon Radio is a wild ride… We’re visited by the Zappacosta family, nature sleuths and New Moon Radio fans! There’s also a yipping good synchronicity sit spot story from our dear friend Lilah Gliksohn, a Q & A with Sammy the Spider, a beautiful conversation about tending the land with Redbird Willie, plus lunch, poetry, Skies with Solace, and more!
Join us at your own pace — feel free to listen all the way through, or if you’d like, pause and listen at different times during the day. Enjoy!
